Mason Cycles

Launch campaign

For the Bokeh 3.0 launch campaign, concept was to "Focus on the Ride." This campaign shifts the spotlight to the journey, landscapes and the experiences that unfold during a ride. Inspired by the natural photographic themes integral to Mason Cycles, I've employed the classic rule of thirds to frame not just the bike but the stunning sceneries it traverses.

Photography

Captured through the nostalgic lens of film photography, each image tells a story of adventure and exploration. The choice of film brings a timeless, authentic feel to the visuals, enhancing the sense of place and atmosphere. The Mason Bokeh 3.0 is portrayed as an integral part of diverse environments—from serene countryside trails to dynamic urban scenes—each framed thoughtfully within the rule of thirds. This composition not only showcases the bike but also celebrates the expansive settings it is built to explore.

Concept

The "Focus on the Ride" concept is all about highlighting the journey and the places the Mason Bokeh 3.0 can take you. By utilising the rule of thirds grid, I've created a balanced visual narrative that places equal emphasis on the bike and the beautiful landscapes it moves through. This technique helps to blend the bike seamlessly into its surroundings, making it feel like an essential part of the environment.

Product

Clean product photography against a black backdrop highlighted beautiful features of the design and contrasted the lifestyle film photography nicely. I designed a product brochure as well as PDF press version to be sent out as part of the launch campaign.

Grids

The exploration of the "rule of thirds" grid lead me to continue to investigate other grids and patterns within the camera. See explorations for future branding work and product posters below.
