Wild Cycles
Brand Identity
Web
Born out of a passion for cycling Wild Cycles is a UK based cycling adventure start-up. Offering a range of self guided and guided bikepacking trips, Wild Cycles is looking to grow in the adventure sector.
This brand identity was designed to reflect the name and heritage. A South African owned business which doesn't like faff and cuts straight to the chase with exciting experiences.
Brand
When developing the Wild Cycles brand identity with the owner, we established that the brand should be as disruptive as possible and not follow the status quo.
Working with friend and illustrator Andrei Ganser, we developed a range of colourful posters based on his unique brush stroke style. My vision was to use this as a backdrop for the Wild Cycles brand, helping it to stand out amongst other traditional outdoor experience brands.
Texture

Colour
This is why we decided to use a vibrant colour palette, and our own hand-painted series of textures to help the brand stand out and be noticed.
Printed Material
Wild Cycles is a growing startup with exciting ideas and are looking to grow by developing a range of merchandise. Some of the ideas that I presented can be found below including a regular printed zine featuring favourite routes and adventures.
Website
I developed a responsive WIX website for Wild Cycles, with integrated basic SEO performance that would be easily manageable for the owner. Stats showed that a large proportion of visitors were on mobile, so it was important to transfer the look and feel of the desktop site over. The website would also need to incorporate a simple booking system for trips and adventures, as well as bike hire.
